Owners acquired a Porter's Lake lot on Highway 7 - the narrow (street to lake) lot provided challenges in that the house would be inevitably quite close to a busy roadway, potentially compromising privacy. The West elevation neccesarily incorporates many windows placed high to "shut out the road" while capturing the natural light in the afternoon and early evening  - alternatively the lakeside elevation is replete with windows to captilize on the gorgeous morning sun and water views. The form of the house mimics the sharp rise and fall of land, ensuring complete privacy on the lake side.
